Command Line Course
Pre-Task
You should figure out which Linux command is indicated, review the manual page if necessary, then run the commands in a terminal and capture the output in a log file.
You may remove text from the log file before you submit, including commands that did not work, and truncate commands that produce lots of data. Use the command line instead of GUI programs unless the directions state otherwise.
Login to a system and make sure you can run the firefox browser, gedit editor, file manager, and terminal window.
Open a terminal window and show the manual page for the script command. Run the script command with the filename A1.log to start logging. Keep a separate Log of each day. Use short key CTRL+D to terminate logging.
